Terms & Conditions
1. Membership Changes & Flexibility
We know life happens, so we make it easy to manage your membership. All changes must be submitted via the Member Change Form on our website.

Freezing: You may "freeze" (pause) your membership for up to 6 months.

Cancellations & Tier Changes: You can use the form to cancel, upgrade, or downgrade your membership at any time.
2. Premium Memberships

The Upgrade: Premium memberships are available for an additional $15 per month.

Orientation: To activate a Premium membership, you must appear in person at the gym to complete a mandatory orientation. This ensures you are familiar with the facility's safety protocols and access procedures.
3. Facility Rules

Waivers: Every person entering the climbing or fitness areas must have a signed waiver on file. Minors must have their waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Cashless Facility: For the security of our staff and members, Gripped Fitness does not accept cash. All transactions must be made via credit/debit card or digital payment.

Conduct: We are a community-focused gym. We reserve the right to end a membership if a member is acting unsafely or disrespectfully toward others.
A. General Safety & Health

Waivers: All participants and spectators must have a waiver on file and check in at the front desk before starting any activity.

Personal Risks: Participants must acknowledge and assume all risks involved in using the fitness and climbing areas, including potential injuries from falls or equipment failure.

Sobriety: Use of the facility is prohibited if your judgment or movement is impaired by alcohol or drugs.

Hygiene: All broken or bloody skin must be covered with tape at all times while climbing.

Equipment Care: Do not use damaged equipment and report any issues to staff immediately.

Personal Items: Remove all jewelry, watches, and keys before climbing to prevent injury or damage to crash pads.
B. Climbing & Bouldering Safety

Landing Zones: Climbers are responsible for clearing landing areas and must never climb, walk, or sit underneath other climbers.

Falling Technique: All falls are considered "ground falls"; participants are responsible for using proper falling or down-climbing techniques.

Structural Safety: Do not grab lighting fixtures or structural members of the building or climbing wall.

Supervision: Children under 14 must be under direct adult supervision at all times.

Spotting: Children aged 3–4 are restricted to the kids' wall and must be spotted at all times.
C. Fitness & Gear Requirements

Footwear: Climbing shoes are required for climbing (no bare feet, sandals, or hiking boots). Closed-toed shoes are recommended for the fitness area.

Attire: Shirts, tanks, or sports bras must be worn at all times.

Weights: Dropping weights in the fitness area is strictly prohibited.

Environment: Personal speakers are not allowed; please use headphones. No gum, food, or drink is permitted on the climbing mats.
Youth Supervision Ratios

Under 14 must have a 2-to-1 ratio of climbers to adult supervisors.

15 and up are permitted to use the fitness area and join open-play pickleball.

While we provide a safe and maintained environment, climbing and fitness activities involve inherent risks. By using the facility, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety guidelines provided by our staff.
